DOWN - 100% WHITE GOOSE DOWN--WATER RESISTANT 950 fill power

100% WHITE GOOSE DOWN This premium quality 100% white goose down is treated with a water resistant treatment that coats each plume to create a hydrophobic finish. This treatment provides an invisible coating that does not compromise the texture, compressibility, feel or color of the fill. End result- you stay drier and warmer. To the best of our knowledge we are the only ones carrying this highest fill power down.

This top quality down is washed and dried, cleaned and independently tested. It is Hypoallergenic and unmatched in the industry having undergone strict cleaning standards and is independently tested by IDFL certified testing lab (International Down and Feather Testing Laboratory) to assure its quality. Uses: sleeping bags, sleeping quilts, jackets, vests, booties, hoods, hats, mittens.

NOTE: The down is packaged in 3 oz packages so if you need 6 oz you will put a 2 in the quantity box, if you need 1 pound 2 oz (18 oz in total) you will put a 6 in the qty box, etc

THINSULATE

65% Olelin and 35% polyester. A very thin (approx. 1/8" - 5/8" in thickness respectively) lightweight insulation made by 3M. Microfibers (1.4 denier) keep you warm even when wet. One of the best synthetic insulations available. Thinsulate is an insulation and must be sandwiched in between an outer shell and a lining. Although the use of different types of fabric and activity will effect the amount of warmth you need the chart below will give you a standard application for each. When using waterproof breathable fabric the scrim portion (the interfacing-like side) of the Thinsulate goes next to the coating on the fabric]. PRIMALOFT GOLD (formally known as PrimaLoft One)

WT/SQ. YD= 3 oz 100% fine polyester microfibers by Albany International. Refered to as synthetic down. PrimaLoft Gold is PrimaLoft's highest quality insulation. Primaloft's ultimate advantage over down is its performance in the face of wet conditions. PrimaLoft Gold only looses 4% of its insulating capability when completely wet. This is due to the hydrophobic (water repelling) nature of the PrimaLoft fibers that maintain loft and still continue to trap body heat even in wet conditions. This insulation is extremely soft and highly compressible. A 6" quilt spacing is highly recommended to ensure stability and a downproof or high thread-count fabric is required (the fabric comes with an ultralightweight "scrim" fabric on one side to assist with quilting). Past customer feedback suggests many customers using 2 layers of 3 oz feel it is good to approximately 35 degrees
